The card
Does it work with iPhone and Android?
Yes. iPhone XR, XS and every iPhone since read NFC on their own while the screen is on; they show a small banner to tap. Android phones with NFC read it when they're unlocked and NFC is switched on in settings, which it is by default on many models. Any phone with a camera can scan the QR code on the same card instead.
What if a customer's phone doesn't have NFC?
They scan the QR code on the same card — works on any phone camera.
Do customers need to download an app?
No. The tap opens your Google review screen right away, in the phone's browser or the Google Maps app, whichever the phone uses. There's nothing to install, for them or for you.
Does the card need batteries, Wi-Fi or charging?
No. The NFC chip inside has no battery; it's powered by the phone for the split second it's read. The QR code is printed. Set it by the register and forget it.
Do customers need a Google account to leave a review?
Yes, that's Google's rule, not ours. Most Android users are already signed in. Anyone who isn't will be asked to sign in before they post.
Is it okay to ask customers for Google reviews?
Yes. Google lets businesses ask for reviews. What it doesn't allow is paying or rewarding people for reviews, or asking only your happy customers. The card shows every customer the same review screen, and we never recommend offering rewards for reviews.
Google profile
Do I own my Google profile?
Yes, always. You stay the owner. We ask to be added as a manager, which lets us reply to reviews and update your listing, but not remove you or take ownership. You can remove our access whenever you like.
What do you need from me to get started?
A quick consult and manager access to your Google Business Profile. We'll walk you through adding us. See the full timeline.
Will you reply to negative reviews too?
Yes. Critical reviews are where a calm, professional reply matters most. We thank the customer, address the specific issue and offer a way to make it right, without arguing. See an example response.
Can you guarantee I'll rank #1 on Google Maps?
No, and be careful with anyone who does. Google decides local rankings based on relevance, distance and prominence. What we do is the work Google itself recommends: complete, accurate information, fresh activity, and steady reviews with replies.
Pricing & billing
How much does it cost?
Review Guard is $50/month: one card, review monitoring and professional review responses. Reputation Pro is $75/month and adds profile optimization, review generation strategies and monthly Google posts. Compare the plans.
Do you only work with Ponca City businesses?
We're based in Ponca City and focused on local businesses here and in the surrounding area. If you're nearby, ask.
